A Mississippi man met his Ohio woman in Knoxville, and they fell in love. After graduation, Loren's journey led her back to Ohio, and Parker didn't hesitate to join her. They now live in Columbus, where Loren studies at OSU's College of Veterinary Medicine and Parker began a career with Commercial Control Services. Their lively house is home to two beagles, Bagel and Kiwi, and two cats, Ron and Sue.

While on summer vacation after Loren's first year of school, Parker proposed beneath the giant sequoia trees in Kings Canyon National Park, CA, marking the start of a new chapter in their story.
