A Mississippi guy met his Ohio girl in Knoxville, and the rest is history. After graduation from UT, Loren headed back to Ohio, and Parker didn’t think twice about going with her. Now they’re living in Columbus, where Loren is in her third year at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Parker works as an HVAC Building Controls Technician with Commercial Control Services.

After Loren’s first year of vet school, the two took a summer trip to California. While exploring the giant sequoias in Kings Canyon National Park, Parker got down on one knee and asked Loren to marry him. And just like that, their next adventure began.

Life is never boring with their four-legged friends - two beagles, Bagel and Kiwi, plus two cats, Ron and Sue. Loren's family also has a small herd of beef cattle.
